Gourmet toast and juice bar Toastique will open in Water Street Tampa on Oct. 28.
Colorado-based Toastique said that a group of franchisees that signed a six-unit deal with the company is nearly ready to open the Tampa location at 1011 E. Cumberland Ave., on the ground floor of apartment tower Cora. The Tampa location is owned by Adrian Lojo and business partners Valery Valencia, Yvis Manrique and Sarai Sanchez.
Toastique offers avocado toast along side gourmet toasts like a tomato burrata toast and a spicy crab toast. It also sells smoothies and smoothie bowls as well as cold-pressed juices.
“I’m thrilled to introduce the Tampa community to our exceptional gourmet toasts, juices and smoothies,” said Lojo. “We’re not just offering a meal, but a nutritious experience that I believe will resonate deeply with everyone who walks through our doors. The passion and dedication Toastique brings to health and wellness makes this business a perfect match for me, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
There is a Toastique location in Sarasota, but it is under a different franchisee. Lojo’s group opened their first location in Winter Garden.
Restaurants make up the majority of ground-floor retail tenants in Water Street Tampa’s first phase. Some are owned by local restaurateurs, like Predalina and Boulon Brasserie; others, like The Pearl and Cava, are part of national chains.
