The Ministry of Interior of Kuwait has resumed issuing family residence visas for children below the age of five if both parents have a valid residence permit in Kuwait and the sponsor meets the minimum monthly salary requirement of KD 500. The salary requirement will be waived if the visa is for a child below the age of one or if the sponsor is a professional such as a doctor or engineer. The issuance of family residence visas is still suspended for all other individuals due to the government restructuring Kuwait’s regulatory framework.
