The first Ajman Food Festival, which took place from March 10 to March 12, 2023, featured a wide variety of home-grown restaurants and food businesses. Here are some key highlights from the event:

Venue: The festival was held at Marsa Ajman and featured more than 35 food stalls. Some of these stalls were designed to look like colorful containers, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Entertainment: A marching band welcomed visitors with a performance of the popular song “The Final Countdown” by Swedish rock band Europe. The event catered to families, and there was a small stage at the center of the waterfront plaza. In addition to the food stalls, there were two inflatable slides for children.

Food Offerings: The festival showcased a diverse range of food, including classic Arabic dishes like luqaimat and shawarma, as well as Asian specialties such as sushi and takoyaki. Many of the participating brands were new to the scene, including The Mumz Kitchen, run by four Egyptian sisters, offering their mother’s home-cooked meals.

Local Businesses: The festival supported local projects, investors in the food and beverage sector, and small and medium enterprises. It aimed to promote entrepreneurship in the community.

Well-Known Participants: Alongside newer businesses, some well-known restaurants and dessert shops participated, such as Al Roof Restaurant and Cafe, Bakdash, Abbasoglu, and Al Mubarakiya. These establishments brought a variety of cuisines and delicacies to the event.

Operating Hours: The Ajman Food Festival was open from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and ran for four days, concluding on Sunday.

The festival served as a platform for local food businesses to showcase their offerings, attract visitors, and promote entrepreneurship in the region. It also provided an opportunity for families to enjoy a wide range of delicious dishes and entertainment.
